What "firmware-drift maintenance" means
Every ecosystem on the bridge ships firmware on its own cadence — Hi-Fi Rose every six to ten weeks, Control4 OS releases quarterly, Josh AI's Nimble stack continuously. Each one can break a working integration. As a maintenance customer you receive:
Advance notice
Notified within 24 hours of any supported firmware drop, before homeowners auto-update.
Compatibility certificate
We run the regression suite on the new firmware. Certificate goes out within 72 hours: pass, fail, or pass-with-patch.
Patched adapter
If a patch is required, the affected adapter is published within seven days. The /v2 contract — and your programmed system — is unchanged.
Rollback support
If a vendor firmware causes a regression too deep for a clean patch, we publish a documented rollback procedure.
Dealer ROI — conservative math
Conservative numbers from existing customers:
| Variable | Conservative | Aggressive |
|---|---|---|
| Dealer billable rate | $125/hr | $250/hr |
| Hours saved per ecosystem firmware drop | 10 | 25 |
| Ecosystem firmware drops per year (combined) | 8 | 16 |
| Annual labor recovered | $6,250 | $50,000 |
| Dealer Toolkit annual cost | $7,383 | $7,383 |
| Net first-year ROI | −$1,133 | +$42,617 |
| Net every year after | −$133 | +$47,612 |
The conservative case sits at the threshold of value. Fewer than ten installs across all three ecosystems? The Pro tier is the better fit. One single device? Start on Maker.
Volume and multi-org pricing
Over 50 active deployments under one organization, or hospitality / MDU / commercial properties with a mixed ecosystem fleet, the Enterprise tier is the floor. Contact us for custom pricing — typical engagements include a private support channel, named technical contact, and quarterly compatibility audits across every ecosystem you run.
